Justin Ralph
Manager – Business Development

Justin joined JADA Solutions (HSE) Inc. in October of 2010, as the Manager of Business Development, Justin is responsible for the growth of each service line and the development on internal marketing and procedure planning.

Justin’s background and experience is in Industrial Supply Chain Management, Sales and Marketing. Justin has received a Business Administration – Marketing Diploma from The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

In Justin’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies and playing the guitar.

 Pat Keller – HAZMAT Business Development Coordinator

Pat works in Business Development at JADA Solutions (HSE) Inc. Pat is responsible for client retention and development of new business opportunities for the Hazardous Materials service line. Pat attended Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and received his Business Administration Diploma. Pat’s career has included developing numerous skills to be a Branch Accountant Office Manager, a partnership in a Truck Equipment firm, Accountant for a larger Farm Equipment Dealership, an Assessment Auditor for the Alberta Workers Compensation Board, Consulting in Workers Compensation issues and to present Consulting in Health, Safety and Environmental concerns with JADA Solutions (HSE) Inc. Pat’s spare time has been occupied with raising and training Paints and Quarter horses, teaching country two stepping and line dancing, owning and drag racing a souped up 1987 Chev S10 and following the sports activities of three precious grandkids with his wife Jan.

Amanda Swinamer – Administrative Assistant

Amanda joined JADA Solutions (HSE) Inc. September of 2017, as an Administrative Assistant.  With twelve years’  of related experience in Administration and Accounting.  She has gained diverse knowledge and exceptional skills that are rounding her life both professionally and personally.  Although the majority of her experience is Oil & Gas related, with 6 solid years of Environmental Consulting, she has also worked for both profit and no profit organizations in Northern/ Southern parts Alberta.  Amanda is actively pursuing her Bachelor of Business Administration Accounting.  In her spare time you may find her lost in a novel or her experimenting in her passion for photography.

Joel DaCosta – Operations Manager 

Joel is the Operations Manager at JADA Solutions (HSE) Inc. Joel is responsible for the day to day project operations at with the company, and has an extensive background in Environmental services. Joel has been a practicing environmental consultant for the past twelve years, and is a member in good standing with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta. When not at the office Joel enjoys his downtime in the mountains as much as possible.

Alex Mercer – Industrial Hygiene Project Coordinator

Alex Mercer is the Industrial Hygiene Project Coordinator at JADA Solutions (HSE) Inc. In this role, Alex is responsible for coordinating and managing projects related to chemical exposure monitoring, noise mapping and monitoring, indoor air quality assessments, hazardous materials (asbestos, mould), as well as Occupational Health and Safety order rectification and compliance audits. Alex has achieved her P. Biol. designation and is actively working towards CIH designation. Alex has a BSc. (Hons) in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Memorial University, a MSc. in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Alberta, and a diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from NAIT. Alex began her career as a molecular microbiologist, transitioning into the field of safety and industrial hygiene in 2014.

When Alex is not working, she can be found spending time with her husband Ryan, six cats, and lab/mastiff mix Kobe – who sometimes makes an appearance in the JADA offices! Alex is also a community activist; she was recently awarded first prize for a submission on mental health reform in the workplace (CSSE OHSE Student Writing Awards Program 2016) and currently sits on the Executive Board for a local non-profit organization called EDSNA (Eating Disorder Support Network of Alberta).

Denise Castle – Indoor Environment Coordinator

Denise Castle is the Indoor Environment Coordinator at JADA Solutions. Denise graduated from NAIT with an Occupational Health and Safety Diploma, which she has been putting to good use ever since. She started at JADA in 2011 as a summer student and with her hard work, dedication and love for safety she has worked her way up within the organization. Overseeing the Indoor Environment Department here, Denise ensures it is running smoothly and clients are satisfied with the work the JADA team provides. Using her passion for safety and her attention to detail, Denise makes sure all client needs are not only met, but exceeded. In addition to her work, Denise is pursuing her CRSP designation to further solidify her career in safety.  When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family.  You can usually find her at home crafting, gardening or obsessing over taxidermy rodents. Denise likes antiquing and has a love for making old things new again.

Maurice Quensel – HSE Technician

Mo joined JADA Solutions (HSE)Inc. in May of 2013 as an HSE technician.

Mo has 7 years of experience in the hazardous materials industry. Working in the field, he has dealt with a wide variety of materials from lead to mould and most commonly asbestos. He has accumulated extensive experience with glove bags, air clearances, inspections, final visuals, collecting samples (soil and water). Mo also works closely with contractors to ensure completion of projects and has a great rapport with all of our clients. Mo has an extensive amount of certificates and courses, one of them being the Alberta 2 day Abatement course that he was recertified for in July 2017. Mo has expanded his knowledge in both the hazardous materials and environmental divisions and continuing to learn more about industrial hygiene.

Mo also participates in a variety of charitable work, such as Operation Valor (PTSD Service Personnel)

In Mo’s spare time he thoroughly enjoys playing video games, watching movies, travelling and diving into anime comics.

Caitlin Shumborski – HSE Technician

Caitlin Shumborski is a HSE Technician for JADA Solutions (HSE) Inc., joining the team in May of 2017. She is responsible for industrial hygiene exposure monitoring, noise monitoring, indoor air quality, hazardous materials abatement and health and safety program development and maintenance. Caitlin attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and got her diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, with plans of getting her CRSP designation. When Caitlin is not working she enjoys spending time with her two Arabian horses, Titan and Beamer. Caitlin enjoys playing slo-pitch and competing on her horses in endurance racing.

AJ is a second-year student of Occupation Health and Safety (program) at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. He describes himself as a self- motivated professional with a passion for health and safety. He completed his 3 months co-op work term at Jada Solutions Inc; where he gathered significant expertise working on different hazardous material projects not limited to asbestos abatement (low, medium, and high risk), mold remediation, hazardous material assessment surveys and asbestos fiber analysis. AJ enjoys spending many things however his favorite is spending time with his family.
